I founded If Walls Could Talk in 2003 in order to offer beauty and value to my clients. My company is based on the solid principal that the environment in which we all work and live can have a direct impact on our mood and performance.
Some of the services we offer:
Color Consultation and Selection
Interior and Exterior Painting
Faux Finishes (i.e. wood graining, marbleizing)
Decorative Finishes and Plasters
Murals
Custom Stencils
Fine Artwork
Furniture Makeovers
"Green" finishes
In my business no two projects or clients are alike. Each brings a unique set of challenges, tastes, and circumstances. I work closely with designers, builders, project managers, and homeowners to ensure success and satisfaction. The end result is a happy client and a beautiful space.

February/March 2009: Designed and excecuted multiple projects using decorative finishes, custom designed stencils, and a large ceiling mural in a newly built 7,000 sf home of a local contractor. I will be posting pictures of this soon..

2. A six layer textured plaster finish in the center tray ceiling in the dining room. Also selected the colors for the rest of the ceiling in this room. Project length: 2 days, not including design meetings and sample making.
November 2008: Design and application of a six layer "leather" plaster finish in a two story family room. Custom made color. Project length: 4 days, not including design meetings and sample making.
October 2008: Custom color consultation and painting of four rooms in a recently remodeled private residence. Painted walls and trim in all four rooms, each room a different color. Project length: 4 days, not including color consultation.

Experience has been my greatest teacher. I have gained experience by working with other skilled artists and contractors on projects small and large. I also spend valuable time in my studio experimenting and perfecting new techniques and ideas. I belong to several online forums dedicated to the art of decorative finishing. I also subscribe to several industry related periodicals and own a vast libray on the subject.
In 2004-2005, I attended The Massachusetts Institute of Surface Design located in Allston, Ma., just outside of Boston. There I earned certifications in glazing, plasters, marbleizing, business, and color theory/ interior design. After completing the courses, I had the opportunity to apprentice on some large projects including a large brownstone on Commonwealth Ave. in Boston, a 24 foot high Venetian Plaster foyer in Essex, Ma., and a charity event for Childrens Hospital in Boston.
I strongly believe that we never stop learning. To me, to stop learning is to stop breathing. We all have something to contribute and something to gain. That is why I strive to continually update my knowledge of new products and technology as well as develop efficient ways of doing things. I strive to stay on top of design and color trends without sacrificing timeless elegance.

In this economy it is more important than ever to bring quality and integrity to the consumer. Good value is more than a price tag. It is personalized attention, dedication, teamwork, talent, and skill. It means forming strong business relationships and getting the most for your budget.
It hurts everyone when contractors undercut others with a ridiculously low price tag. Consumers need to be educated about quality and professionalism. It is my hope that other hard working contractors will feel the same and work hard to educate the public and maintain high standards.
