One of my clients insisted and basicly forced me to do a slate flooring which meets the wood flooring we are going to install. the room is octagonal and the field has 16 x 16 slate tiles with granite diamonds at the corners.The skirt or border area is 12 x 12 slate tiles.It is done as per architect's drawings and looks really good.
