Random acts
Posted On 03/03/2008 16:42:35

Hi everyone it has been a while since I wrote my last blog I have been watching all of you. You are all doing such a great job in here helping and supporting each other. It makes me feel awesome to see the support and consideration given to each other. I would like to offer a way to all of you to feel joy and happiness try random acts of kindness. In these times of gloom and doom, bad market, people not paying on time if at all. Try and make somebody's day. It can be small pay the toll for the car behind you, pay for the cup of coffee for the person behind you, make a effort to hold the door for someone. The response you get I think will warm you from the inside out. I have been paying the toll for the cars behind me for a while now and the smile on peoples faces when they make every attempt to catch you is great. If only for a moment you feel good again and the gloom and doom seems to disappear for a little while. So now I would like to hold the door open for all of you to enter Contractors United come on in the group is fine.

Thanks,

Drywaller needed
Posted On 02/05/2008 19:53:01

I am building a duplex in Haverhill MA and need a drywaller to supply board, hang, tape, mud, sand and prime. Each unit is approx 1680 sqft. Drop me a line through this site and we can make arrangements from there. These homes are based for first time home buyers and priced in that range so price will be a factor. Thanks for reading and hope to do business soon.

Profiles
Posted On 01/21/2008 18:57:07

Hello fellow contractors and site members. I would ask all of you to please take the time to dress up your profiles as you would like the public to see your company. I have been in contact with some radio personnel and clear channel communications.Discussing our website and trying to get some local radio personnel to make mention of our website as a place where good contractors can be found for all of your service needs. I will keep all of you posted as to when this might happen. I have some friends in that industry and will be asking for favors to make this happen. So take the time dress up your profile as to how you want home owners to see your company.

Thanks,

Contractors united
Posted On 01/16/2008 19:37:27

I have been a member on this site for a short time and have seen it grow greatly. I would ask all of you to get to know the General and see his vision. I would also ask all of you to please check out this web site and all of its groups and people read their bio's check out the blogs and most of all join a group, or better yet form one. Lets join as one group, one unity and one force to make this world a better place for our families and for others to enjoy. If we stand together we can and will be heard I want my message to be heard, enough is enough! This world is changing fast, to fast and not all for the best. Lets take the time to make the right choices and not just the less evil one. Stand up for what you believe in, be passionate but be compassionate in your deliverence remember others and what they believe in, don't be affraid to hear both sides of every story and then make a decision. Rush to judgement is one of the worst things to do. Take time talk to the General listen to what he has to say and lets make this a truley united world.

Thanks for your time,

Take time
Posted On 01/07/2008 17:45:43

Take time to rember those who you came from and those who you do all you do for. We are moving forward at a fast pace these days and forget to remember who and why we do it for. Take time to read a story to a child, play ball, call your parents and most of all lets take Sunday as a time to rest. Business can be done the other 6 days lets slow down on Sunday and roll up the sidewalk and enjoy the breeze. Stop and think when was the last time you enjoyed a sunrise, sunset or just stopped and looked at the moon I mean really looked at it. Try doing all those through the eyes of your children and you will remember and know what I am talking about. I guess most of all just take time. Thanks to you all,

Major Corporations
Posted On 01/06/2008 18:46:44

Am I the only one who is bothered by the large chain style building supply stores? I am a small contractor who is feeling the crunch of " you can do it and we can help". I understand the whole saving money idea, but I must say I don't perform my own dental surgery ( it sounds easy enough) I leave that to the professional. I am a professional in my field as many of you are and I believe that everybody has a talent. I would ask of all my brothren contractors to use the major corporation stores as little as possible. I tend to use the local mom and pop suppliers more often than not. I usually find better service as well. Maybe if we grow big enough we can change the mentality and give the work back to the professionals with a talent. I look forward to seeing where contractors united is going and am glad to be here at the begining. Thank you all you reading and together it can be done and we can help.
